This Corsett is more of the classical style. (as far as you may use the term ,,classical" to a corsett) The brocade has a floral pattern. Inside is the corsett lined with cotton. Corsets has been permanent feature of women clothing from late renaissance until the early twenty century. Except for short periods during the Empire and the Biedermeier period women, especially rich women wore corsets. As late as the begin of the 20th century the corset vanished.
